We were just a bunch of friends who loved rock and roll,
Rhythm and blues and a little bit of soul.
We got together and we started to play.
We never knew that we would make it some day as
We got together for just one set.
We hadn’t practiced any, we weren’t ready yet,
But we punched up the amps and we started to play

Second quarter and we lost five.

But we worked real hard and practiced every day
